December 16,2011 marks the two-hundredth anniversary of when a piece of Comet C/1811 F1 [The Great Comet of 1811] impacted our planet and caused "The New Madrid Earthquake", also known as "The Great Earthquake of 1811-1812". This has been a little known, lost piece of history for nearly two hundred years, that very few have studied. Now, the pieces to this intracate puzzle have been put together. An impact crater has been discovered in Northern Mississippi, almost in the middle, right at the top, stretching partly into Tennessee. On a sattelite view, zoom in to this region and study the circular lines, although the immediate crater has alot of erosion, due to its make-up and development, and the canyons are filled with trees, once you start to pan out, it becomes obvious that all the topography incircles the impact site. The lines you see are from a shockwave that immediately followed the first blast. All the rivers to the north, such as The Hatchie, and The Wolf incircle this site, and this is also the reason that The Tennessee River runs back northward. This was also what was responsible for the creation of Reelfoot Lake. As you can see all the man-made lakes to the south, like Arkabutla, Sardis, and Enid run from east to west, and is where the land was pulled upward and split apart by the blast. Once you pan out far enough, you can see the stratus lines from the shockwave cover more than four states, and has the appearance of a huge thumbprint. Right at the center of all these lines is where hundreds of meteorites, petrified wood, many rocks that were obviously molten, and even incased body parts, from the natives and the animals in the area, were found.

There have been many theories about these earthquakes and the topography. It is currently common belief that an ice sheet somehow pulled the land upward against gravity and away from the equator. Theories presently exist saying the bright lights, which many reported going across the sky at the same times as the quakes, may have been due to gas pockets, or quartz crystals rubbing together, or a newer theory is, it may have been ball lightning, and although all these may have occurred, it would not have been possible for people in North Carolina to see lights or hear explosions, as was reported all the way from New Madrid, as it is not possible to see or hear a fireworks display even in the next town over. Although New Madrrid was not the epicenter, it just had more settlers who thought it was worse there. As you will find, most of what was reported was speculation and hear-say evidence, There was no way to measure distances in space with any accuracy, look up the history of the telescope. There was no way to accurately determine the strength of the quakes, there were no seismographs, as Richter wasn't even born yet. Plenty of evidence is missing, as well. You will find no accounts at The Office of Indian Affairs from 1809-1822. You will find only a couple newspaper articles, although every town in the area had a newspaper. Lately C.E.R.I. has distorted facts, removing any stories of lights across the skies from their interpatations, and have added propaganda by exclaiming the quakes were no where near as strong as people had reported.

I have put extensive study into this for over a decade, and know this to be fact. This forces a number of unanswered questions. Why did I find these stones at the center of all these stratus lines, so clearly visible from satellite? Why are there so many small round and oval depressions running through The Carolinas, that are considered to be thousands of years old, but are on the surface, mostly on topsoil, and they even had to stop farmers from plowing over them? How could a volcano almost 2600 feet below Jackson Mississippi have been discovered in 1819 with no ground penetrating radar and very few if any geologists? And why was it referred to as "Fire Mountain" by the natives? And why did the volcano sit on an island referred to as "Jackson Island", named after Andrew Jackson? How could land be pulled upward by an ice sheet? How could lights and explosions be seen or heard from several states over?

This comet had been reported to, at one time have had a coma more than a million miles in length and appeared to be fifty percent larger than the sun! Now, it couldn't have been that big, so it must have been very close. There is much more to this story.
