Production, characterization, and utilization of biochar all still need research and development.

Thanks for the link. I'm really impressed. I didn't know they'd done that much.

The U.S. BIOCHAR site just started up this month. The new site is partly a result of networking and efforts stemming from that First North American Biochar Conference at CU Boulder, back in August [and of course a few dedicated, hard-working people who deserve our thanks].

North American Biochar Conference 2009
Welcome to the website for the 2009 North American Biochar Conference, held in Boulder, Colorado from August 9 - 12, 2009. The purpose of this site is to provide visitors access to the papers, posters and presentations—as well as other related resources—from the conference. The 2009 Conference was hosted by the Center for Energy and Environmental Security (CEES) and co-sponsored by the International Biochar Initiative (IBI).

Thanks!

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
