Okay. I know that this image does not fit the criteria of the opening post but will it do until I have time to look for some others? :)

Topiaries are living sculptures, plants trained and trimmed to look like animals and other shapes. Literary references to topiary sculptures date back to the first century A.D., and they have been a garden feature in outdoor spaces all over the world. Ancient Romans used cypress trees to create topiaries, but gardeners who want to add living sculptures to their own yards have other plant options.

Last week we took a look at some faces in unexpected places, flowers. It was so much fun searching for them that I have more to share.

Don’t worry, this isn’t all of them, check of the first part & there are even more to come.

For many more pictures of this type search on the following (very worth it)

This is a pretty interesting fungus.

Image: Orimath This mushroom - thought to be a specimen of Clathrus archeri, or "Devil's Fingers" - takes the cake for being the strangest and creepiest specimen of a fungus looking like something else. It looks like a cold, dead hand reaching out to pull the rest of the zombie body out of the earth. Those even look like tattered sleeves down by the wrists of the hands!

I chose the path least traveled.

While we seem to be on a 'dismembered body parts' theme, here is a plant that looks remarkably like a set of jaws.

The name, Faucaria tigrina, is derived from the Latin word fauces meaning animal mouth and tigrina meaning tiger. No wonder it's nicknamed "Tigers Jaws"

I chose the path least traveled.

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
