More than 70 people tried our number theory quiz in the two weeks before the deadline, but only two people managed to get it right!

So...the lucky winner of the February prize quiz is:

Ronald Bjarnason, USA

He receives

The Oxford World Encyclopedia

Electronic version for PC, worth $20!

With its 20,000 authoritative entries, more than 1.5 million words of A-Z text, and the generous coverage of all aspects of human knowledge, The Oxford World Encyclopedia is the ideal reference work for everyone, whether at home, school, or the office.

Thanks to iFinger for sponsoring this prize.

If you didn't win this time, don't worry, we will have at least one prize quiz every month.

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
