About Me

I'm quiet and sneaky, like a ninja. :) I like to read the posts here and try to learn things - I'm not really scientifically advanced in education, but I am fascinated by pretty much everything. I am advanced in education in several languages as well as law (I am a doctor of laws, why don't I get the cool 'doctor' title? :)), though, so if I ever feel I can contribute in areas where I actually know things, I'll do my best. I've been a member for a long time, though was away for awhile to finish up law school and have been busy pursuing my new career as an attorney, which has been personally rewarding ironically only in the areas I do pro bono. C'est la vie, no? Anyway, I do enjoy reading and listening, as I said, I'll try not to always be doing so as a guest so I can feel more like I'm participating again. I was a junior mod some years ago, so hopefully somebody remembers me and my silly posts. :)

Also, I use way, way too many smilies. It's a disease I cannot cure - please forgive me.

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
