:tree: With all my gardening, I have never had herbs. :hyper: But, a couple weeks ago the kids gave me a pot pre-planted with some. They are just starting to sprout, and I'm not even sure what they are. :hyper: A variety I think she said. Time will tell. :clock: My main garden is going good and I already am harvesting lettuce & radishes. My next sewing I'm thinking of adding a canvas liner and a shoulder strap to a nylon stuff-sack. Something for my hiking adventures. :) Enjoy the new place! :turtle:

All my quilting thingys are packed up because we're trying to sell our house. I do have my sewing machine and some fabric to make a shirt... I guess it's crotcheting all summer... I'll check out your quilting. Good sewing!

Hi Yvonne. :wave2: I finally bought fabric today, and already I made my first quilting mistakes! :bounce: I found our old thread at PostMagnet and picked up over there on my quilting adventure. Buckle up that bobbin! :hihi: :steering: http://www.postmagnet.com/index.php/topic,22.0.html

For all my show watching, I had to look up 'fat quarters'. Good to know now it doesn't refer to pants that need letting out. :D The last sewing construction I did was with rip-stop nylon for a kite, and it has no grain. Is it important to have all the grain going the same way in a quilt? 40" x 60" sounds good & I commit to seriously thinking about committing to making this quilt. :) What is the best type of fabric? Maybe we could do a fat quarter exchange? I get some money in May from the government's economic stimulus thingy, and I'm budgeting for fabric now. Cha ching! Skilpadde :turtle:

I do think a quilt from me is due, although I have a notorious reputation for lateness. :D What else should we expect from a skilpadde? :turtle:  Nonetheless, your encouragement is added to some I have received from a couple other gals and I do have a new grandchild, so I promise to start serious planning & budgeting. What do you suggest as a good quilt size for an infant to grow into? Have the girls kept an intertest in quilting?

Tremendously envious of you and Jenny eating fresh Italian Ice Creams in Italy!

Hi Yvonne! :wave2: I watched the quilting ladies on TV today (as if I miss them any Saturday :D), and I thought of you. I still haven't done a quilt, but I have the sewing machine in my room now. Today they did free-form star blocks. :knit:

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
