    Thanks for the pozrep on the Anthropic Principle. I didn't read that anywhere. It was a total epiphany from reading the previous posts and working (as I do occassionally) with statistical probabilities. So, if it turns out that I'm right, you make sure they call it, Pyrotex's Theory. :hihi:

    Matthew 6, verses 1-8 say that public prayer is bad, bad, BAD. So don't you do that, boy! Don't you be calling on the name of the Lawd, Out there in da middle of the department store! Or in da middle of no restaurant juss cauz you thankful for a big steak! And for certain, you keep your prayer lips buttoned at football games. De Lawd ain't gonna bless your team, or even your army.     Not no fear, Modest - we were bitching about a certain member on these hallowed forums, and Pam told me not to worry 'bout it, cause you and her were busy PM'ing him to death - or something like that. And apparently it was not true, 'cause you were joking about it, or something... come to think of it, I don't have the foggiest notion what she was on about, either...

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.
