Pyrotex  Well, it's been three months since I've posted here. I'm sick of bean soups, now. Uninstalled my games and had my wife hide the DVDs. Still looking for a job. Now collecting Social Security. Bored a lot. I miss my friends at Hypo, but I cannot seem to navigate around anymore, since the major upgrade.

Well, I'm sure you guys are 'around', but with no (rational) way to send or read internal mail, it's a pain in the butt. The button for seeing comments from friends ends up here, with no clue how to find the comments. It says I have 3. I cannot find them. Pissed.

Pyrotex  Thanksgiving was good. My key lime pies are da bomb!! Time to hole in for the (brief) winter, buy a new coat, sweater and leg warmers. Playing too much "Fate" and "Alpha Centauri". Making lots of bean soups.

[quote=] I lived in Winter Park (Orlando) FL in 1979. When it got down to 45 degrees, I wore a sweater to work. Others wore sweaters, jackets, overcoats, caps, gloves -- and STILL shivered uncontrollably for half an hour before they could start peeling the layers off. You guys are such wussies.[Quote/] 31 years ago I was living in Pine Hills (it was a nice place then, not so much now) and if I used my Heave coat (that I brought from Colorado) twice a year it was something, now this year I have used my lite jacket twice and my heavy coat more this year then the last five years combined. hoping you stay warm through this global worming. ;-)

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
