take dear martha walking and also take a camera so you two can photograph the wildflowers. some, if not many, are edible and/or medicinal & there is plenty enough licking for all of that i may assure you. ;) by all means then post your photo record(s) to the wildflower thread, and that is not play you can say; that is science. :photos: :bouquet: please do me the honor of delivering a kiss to the neck of the dear flower your wife from this lowly turtle in apology for having distracted her love slave. :turtle: :rose:

write-ups just won't suffice for hofstadter; the entire book is one argument. go to the horse's mouth, or don't go. i paid less than $20 US for a fresh copy, and have my own saddle. . . . :turtle: here's an intro from berkley on evolution: >> Evolution 101: An Introduction to Evolution

Yowie!:hyper: Nothin' I would like better than to fly over my mountains in a hop-chopter at night with one of those FLIR cameras. I'd get poachers, weed growers, bears, pumas, and of course a Yowie or 2. Alas, I hear it's about $5,000 an hour to hire such a rig. :eek2: Maybe next life. :turtle:

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.

When we launched in May 2000, we wanted to create a site to share science-related content of all kinds on the web. As time passed, our site turned into a pure science forum with lots of cool people.

So we kept the name Hypography and the cool science forum community - and aim to be a friendly place for discussion of science topics of all kinds.
