I totally agree NJ.:) Science is close-minded when those 'self-respecting' scientists (this forum puts forward as qualification) don't acknowledge that there are a ****-load of personal-gain-respecting scientists in their midst. Sort of like a Muslim denying jihad is Islamic.

With all this defining of science, with all it's branches and in all it's forms; sounds more like blind faith in a religion I'd say! And you IN are an extremist. That's OK, I understand, I was once in that sort of coma. I woke-up and one day so will you. Only then will you stop this obsession you have to prove to the world that YOU matter.

I see you as God aswell.

Terra preta- global Warming- Global cooling.
Cathryn replied to Michaelangelica's topic in Earth and Climate Science
The thing I love most about terra preta is that in producing it we can also produce energy. I believe it is a system that can make our future possible. -
I love science. It's just another form of God just like everything else!
-
And which science is it? Science which is paid for? Or science which isn't? Again you are getting religion and God confused! God is not religion!
-
Unfortunately most of the average public believe this tripe. Just like you Clay. If the science is unfinished so is the knowledge and therefore even the scientist themselves are in the dark. The nature of scientific experiments make it impossible for them to be thouroughly completed!
-
What KIND of science are you talking about?
-
What a steaming load of crap! There are man-made chemicals. Are you saying science is NOT responsible for those?
-
The most interesting thing is that science itself is being looked at as 'proof'. What a HUGE laugh. Science and religion are equal as the are both opinions. Energy and God are both infailible. Both are pure and simple.

Wow! OD has got it! The fact is that we all do what we think is right. Even Hitler was only doing what he thought needed to be done. Animals do only what they deem necessary. There is no evil, just misunderstanding. The problem here for most is their ideas of what God is. It's often a reaction to what other people have told them. It would benefit them to know that God doesn't care whether you beieved in God. We are all part of God, you don't have to believe this fact. Everyone will understand this, it's just a matter of time. It's a benefit to know that we are all creators. Then we can get on a create with intention a world we like on all levels. We are 6 billion creators and the story we are creating is NOT sustainable. We need to take responsibility for the things we create. We are the Gods. We have no-one to blame. Does science take resonsibility for what it creates? The fact is science more often that not has no idea the extent of the effect of their 'science' once it leaves their lab. It seems once the cheque is cashed they don't care! So science as well as God has had plenty of mis-representation. But they all are doing what they think is 'right'. Hitler went to heaven!

I have put this forward in 'Nature as God' but is even more appropriate here. Yes God exists. God is energy. Science just can't describe it. That's a lack in science not God!
-
Well, it just makes sense. Reconciles God and science. Answers all the questions. Though it may help to know what God is up to in creating the universe! Which of course is to experience physicality. That's all we're doing and she doesn't really care how we go about it. That's what 'free will' is about. He can't give us free will and then put restrictions on any action. That's why knowing that God is energy and therefore God is nature helps us all. We begin to see that everything is made of the same 'stuff', just in differing densities; it interacts with itself and therefore whatever happens with one part of the 'energy field' affects the rest. It's empowering to know your not here 'by chance' and 'for no particular reason'. And of course because we are all 'made of energy'; we all are God, individualy and collectively.

Want a definintion of God? God is energy!

Hi All , I came looking for terra preta and have found God! Wonderful. Science itself is God, science is nature, nature is God. The acceptance of this will continue evolution of the human species in a positive way, if not the natural entropy of the system will be a negative. The big bang theory is consistent with this. It's happened before and it will happen again! World without end. Amen (bits of the bible are accurate, but not many).

Yes, my name is Cathryn and I live in Wantirna an outer eastern suburb of Melbourne, Australia. I'm 37, married with 4 kids and I've just started a renewable energy diploma. I found this website while searching for terra preta.
