Saying Goodbye to a beloved friend....

Today I had to say goodbye to my beloved friend...Boz.

He fought a valiant fight against cancer for over 2 years.

I will miss his dearly, he was a constant companion for 12 years.

I send my commiserations: I lost my black lab Shadow to cancer too. I still dream about the hours I used to spend tossing her tennis ball, which she never tired of ever.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss Celeste. I lost my favorite black Lab a few years ago. I lived in the country back then and Buddy, my dogs name, had all the room he needed. Sadly, he was run over by an automobile one summer and I had to put him down. It practically broke my heart, I really loved that old dog. Labs have always been my favorite breed because they are so gentle and fun loving. I live in the city now and don't really have room for a dog any more. I've thought about that old dog many times in the past and truly, I miss him desperately some times........Sending my heart felt condolences.....................Infy

It's not a crying face you should put on:naughty: . It's a happy face like this:) ... You're not really saying good-bye. To prove an author( Gail Carson Levine) who feels the same way, I have a quote here:

Hey Celeste, losing a beloved pet is just as hard as losing a close human friend. Thanks for sharing the pictures; now we can also remember Boz fondly! ;)

Thank you all for your kind words. Death is never easy on the ones left behind. I have thousands of wonderful memories, though somewhat painful right now, he will forever live-on in my heart and mind.
