I'm sorry Tormod. I don't see where you mention specific photo types in your first post. ;)

Am I just missing the obvious again?

Our replies above overlapped - my response was to TBA who wanted my e-mail address. :sherlock:

Cyanotype is a form of photography so yes it's perfectly fine.

Great, one problem.. my digi camera got dropped by my sister and is dead!

So more than likely I will photoshop some old photos come up with something funky :turtle:

Just so we are clear, I cant have a fully CGI pic, it must contain some photography, and does the picture have to be taken by myself? cos I may use a non-copyrighted nasa image and photoshop that into one that I personally took myself.

Great Idea Tormod! :D

But isn't photoshopping and altering pics of Nature, unnatural?

It seems kinda' like airbrushing pictures of models to appear more flawless in magazines and stuff.

:)

I say that because even tho' I have photoshop, I have no clue how to use it, and I hear it takes time to perfect...:(

:( Nothing is un-natural in Nature O' Mammal of the Mask. :hyper: While touching up a photo may provide some little advantage, the clarity may have nothing to do with a person's judgement of whether or not the photo is 'good'. A slightly dark, or blurred etcetera photo of an Eagle sitting on an Elk's antler is nonetheless an outstanding Nature photo. Say whiskey... :)

OK, I'm in for 2 submissions, and I have a favorite already from among the other entries. I have some uncertainty about talking up (or down) specific entries here, so let me just say simplicity is often sublime. :hihi:

If I so choose may I recall a submission and post another as a replacement?

Because I have 4 submitted and I went to the beach today and took some pics, gotta wait for them to be developed but I think there will be at least one that I will want to submit.

Yes, until the deadline you may replace your pics as long as you don't have a total of more than 5.

But don't forget that if you remove one, it may be one that people have started liking... :)

A new element to the game :)
