rdcast Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 You should find me in the History section of this forum. I've professed Christ as my Savior for 31 years and counting. I'm married and we have a 16 year old son named Brian. We are new to NY but find it most enjoyable. I love everyone so please don't be put off by me. I found this forum by the fact it was high in the list from my Google search. My search words were: theologian forumBy that you might suspect I'm here to find answers to biblical questions not easily attained. I will much appreciate any help. All the best,Robert Quote
Jay-qu Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 You will find a very wide range of views and beliefs here my friend, just let me make it clear from the outset - we are a science forum, even though we do have religion and theology sections, not all our members are religious. Welcome to hypography ;) J Quote

rdcast Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 "A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, of the manifestations of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty - it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute the truly religious attitude; in this sense, and in this alone, I am a deeply religious man." (Albert Einstein) "I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." (Albert Einstein, 1954) "I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings." (Albert Einstein) Above quotes compiled by:Albert Einstein: God, Religion & TheologyExplaining Einstein's understanding of God as the Universe / Reality I didn't come here to find fellow believers in Christ Jesus. What I did come for is the scientific mind. Quote
