Pyrotex Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 It's Friday again. How about that?Lessee... How about learning how to build a Lunar habitat?? Then, there's some photo-realistic paintings that are really neato keano. Finally, there's another comic strip that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Bible, oddly enough. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm seeing Madasgar II (for the second time) and the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. Neener, neener, neener. Quote

Then, there's some photo-realistic paintings that are really neato keano. Finally, there's another comic strip that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Bible, oddly enough. I loved all three links! :) The comics are cracking me up. ;)And who the heck would think to spend 2000 hours in Photoshop recreating a photograph from scratch. ;) Amazing!Tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm seeing Madasgar II (for the second time) and the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. Neener, neener, neener. Goodie, perhaps you can fill the rest of us in on how a quantum can be a measure of solace? :D (though I'm guessing they will not cover that in the movie) :ebomb: Happy B-Day btw! :phones: Quote
Pyrotex Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Yes, I know, it's not Friday yet. Do I look like I care? You gotta see this comic. Do it now. In the James Bond movie, it turns out that "Quantum" is the secret name of a secret organization of tippy-top secret bad guys doing secret evil things in secret places all over the secret world. BTW, the movie is GREAT. Craig is the best Bond ever (next to Connery when he had hair, of course). But... the opening "bond theme" music sucks. It's wretched. SPY RAP?!?!?!?! WHAT were they THINKING?!?!?!?!? Quote
Pyrotex Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Okay, NOW it is Friday. It's culture time, boys and girls. Enough with the cartoons and the joke websites. It's time for your to read the "classics" and get an education. This ancient tome of wisdom comes from none other than Saint Mark Twain, his own holy self. Quote
theblackalchemist Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 You guys have to check this Out..Netdisaster - Destroy the web! So it's just another harrowing day at work, and there goes your boss again, reprimanding you for something or the other. He / she's probably right, but thats doesn't matter really, does it? It's bad enough that the coffee machine's broken and you're still hungover from last night. You need to blow off a little steam, but you can't be caught watching porn at work again. So what do you do? Why, what any normal, balanced human being does to relieve stress of course. Blow up your company website with a shotgun. Or perhaps set a bunch of ants crawling over the page. Or worms. Or poop. Or dog poop (subtle differences). Or simply play God Almighty, and strike parts of your website down with lightning from the heavens using your rather well-tanned and muscular arm. Netdisaster - Destroy the web! allows you to bring about various kinds of disasters to any site you please, in several creative ways which differ in the degree of gratituous violence that is inflicted. Choose between splattering your screen with blood, or sending forth wasps to infest your screen, or even worse, a diaper-clad baby that scribbles all over the screen. Choose from disasters which are natural (floods, meteor showers and the like) to everyday disasters (spilt coffee, fried eggs) to dirty disasters which involve some not-so-pleasant bodily functions.;)ENjoyTBA DOnt use the mouse..just put it on auto..it doesnt work. Freethinker Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Hope I don't get hit too hard. But needed some thread to post to. And it is Friday. Haven't been here in maybe a year or more and still in the top 20 posters? Had to leave a trail here somewhere. FWIW, I have never gone for TgIF. I'm glad to get every day. And I prefer local to chains. Have a good weekend. Quote
