Queso Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 About a year ago I discussed with some of you the nature of the Dream Machine For those of you who are not familiar, please see: How to build a cheap and simple dreamachine I found out that you don't even need a dream machine. All you need is sunshine. Dream machines produce certain frequencies of light that harmonize with brain waves allowing your eyes to start flickering, and after a few minutesreally intense geometrical visions start to occur, brilliant in color (With Eyes Closed)It's very entrancing. Many yogic practices teach students to actually focus their eyes on their Third Eye The third eye is our mysterious mind. It's how we see within our many layers of self. My experiment: -Sitting in lotus position facing El Sol,-I get my breath down to 4 breaths per minute thru my noseand I close my eyes. After all of my various meditative rituals, I look up like a triangle at my third eye and almost instantly my eyes flicker and a strobe effect occurs. This reminds me of those visions I've seen in the past of old wizards on mountain tops with their hands in the air waving like maniacs to essentially produce the same effect with sunlight on their eyes. After I fall into the flickering eye rhythm, I start to see these beautiful voids of color. (So far I've been treading thru the known, this is the bridge to the unknown) These colors are my chakras that I can focus on. Really blew my mind the first time I was able to breathe into certain areas of my body, and literally have that area light up with that color. For instance, I breathe into the base of my spine, and all I see with my eyes closed is this brilliant, vibrant RED blob, that seems to be playing with an orange blob above it, my sex chakra.I can focus all the way up to purple, which is the color of the third eye itself. I can even focus on all of them, which leaves me shuddering in temporary ecstacy. This is very mysterious, yet universal territory I'm treading through. I understand the vibrations of frequencies. I understand that all of our shapes, our bodily cavities, bones and tubes have their own resonant frequencies. These chakras that I speak of are not metaphorical.Chakra means "wheel" in Sanskrit. They are aligned with the endocrine system of our human body. Good vibrations purify our glands. For example: Mantras, dance, sex, exercise, yoga, et cetera. * * * In conclusion to all of this scattered spiritual information, I am just amazed at all of the menacing secrets the human body potentially has right now, and in the evolving years to come. Anyone who has experienced this, please share your thoughts. Anyone who would like to try, please go ahead and do so. I'd like to know how this .exe program works for you. What happens in your mind? What do you see? What do you hear? And does anyone know why, biologically, my eyes flicker and strobe like REM when I do this? What's the purpose? Is it a glitch? Tones harmonize with light, colors. I want to study the mathematics... Does sir Turtle have any idea where I would start learning how to align colors to aural frequencies? Frequency ratios?? I'm a musician, and I go by my ear....And I pick up on vibes, and I know what feels and sounds right, but...like music theory, does light have intervals? I am so confused. I just love how everything I've ever leared leads to something else and all these pieces fit together until I'm old and laughing. Anyone with any feedback, GO Quote
CraigD Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 My experiment: -Sitting in lotus position facing El Sol,-I get my breath down to 4 breaths per minute thru my noseand I close my eyes. After all of my various meditative rituals, I look up like a triangle at my third eye and almost instantly my eyes flicker and a strobe effect occurs.…And does anyone know why, biologically, my eyes flicker and strobe like REM when I do this? What's the purpose? Is it a glitch? It’s caused by a reflex, I think. You are looking into a bright light – the Sun. This triggers a reflexive closing of your eyelids, to protect your retinas from damage. With the bright light blocked, the reflex subsides. You consciously force your eyelids to open again, repeating the cycle, which is rapid enough to for your to perceive it as “flicker”. I find this happening to me quite a lot when forced to look into the Sun, such as when walking across busy street into the setting or rising Sun, or crossing snow covered ground, which reflects a lot of light. Shades or dark sunglasses can relieve it. Be careful about staring into the Sun. The blink reflex exists for a purpose – you can permanently damage your retinas this way, leading to persistent visual relics like halos, waves, color blobs, or dark spots in your normal visual field, or even a general reduction in vision so severe it’s considered blindness. maikeru Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Chakra or not, looking into the sun is a bad idea. Keep your two eyes, and your third, sun-free. Quote
Queso Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 Thanks for the warning, it's not like I sit out there all day. That's not the point, though. The point is, that through rhythmic light .. uh ... percussion,we see more than just flickering eyelids. I am fascinated. Have fun. Quote

I wonder if they're trying to explore the universe in a way being hindered by the government? Zap... :weather_storm: Mercedes Benzene 1 Quote

Way to look at it like a rational skeptic Craig! This is one area of the human experience that I have no knowledge of whatsoever. Quote

I wonder if they're trying to explore the universe in a way being hindered by the government? :) Zap... :D :) :cup: And what it all comes down to . . I've got one hand in my pocket, and the other one's twirlingbuzzing divinity leaving pastel trails through our heavenly space. Cue the curtain. Watch the billboards. You guys all missed the point. The point that there is no point. So the sun eats away at our vision. It also warms us up, makes us happy, burns our skin, and floats. I just like to share information. Question everything. There is a correlation between the dream machine and the sun. The bridge is light. Microcosmically speaking; Frequencies. A broad spectrum of frequencies which are Vibrations. Slowly tying everything together... These posts of mine are meditations. Queso Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 It's biology because it's the strange way I've found myself functioning on Earth. Where else was I supposed to rant about the harmonization of frequencies? Does anyone understand? I don't. Just these vague glimpses and cats. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Where else was I supposed to rant about the harmonization of frequencies? You've really just made my point for me... How about Watercooler, the Lounge, or perhaps (dare I say) Strange Claims? Quote

Well I mean, if you have a problem with this thread being in Biology then why don't you move it? You ARE the Moderator. I am the Confused Kid (s'like my cowboy name);) Quote
Queso Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 Thank you for putting up with me. I know you probably don't believe anything I say, and I don't really care I really appreciate being able to publish and document my own evolution. I like looking back on old threads and seeing how I've learned. In like 20 years I'll come back here and explain everything thoroughly! Until then, RAMBLE ON! Quote
InfiniteNow Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I wasn't asking for your permission, but your preference. Do you care where it goes? I'd be happy to try to accommodate if it's a reasonable request. Quote

Queso Posted March 18, 2007 Author Report Posted March 18, 2007 I just conducted an experiment. 1. Sat in lotus position for many moments, got used to my environment, adapted, began basic yogic practices and slowed my breath to 4 per minute.2. I sat Toward the sun, behind the sun, next to the sun to the west, and next to the sun on the east. I closed my eyes and looked up at my third eye like a triad. My eyes would REM no matter where the sun was. I even blocked the sun with my hands! I gave my eyes shade and comfort and they still flicker. It's just like a dream machine, even without damaging my eyes. So like I said before, I art dream machine. Anyone else? Quote
