my name is mike. i am a middle school principal, public school, and an adjunct instructor with azusa pacific university. i will retire in a year and half. thirty nine plus years is enough. i have a minor in life science and i am very supportive of students taking science. i require all students at my school to participate in the district science fair/engineering fair(sim city). this is not an easy requirement since many parents have trouble getting their children to do any school work.

i joined the science forum because i could not find an answer to a question that was ask at our weekly starbucks "the old potbelly stove club" gathering. every saturday a group of us tries to solve the worlds problems and sometimes we create problems.

i will post my question next time i log in.
