It seems that my friend Turtle has gotten lost in his shell again. So I thought I would see how we can get him to poke his head out and play.

In the movie Doctor Doolittle (1967) they summoned the Great Lunar Moth by forming the shape of the moth on the ground and doing a moth dance. In Mosura (US Mothra) (1961) two fairies summon the great Mothra by chanting her name is their siren like voices.

But we are not talking about a giant moth, we are talking about a giant among Hypographers. So I will use what I think he likes best... numbers. So here it goes, my first attempt to summon Turtle...

It’s just [math]2^{n-1} \cdot (2^n-1)[/math], where [math]2^n-1[/math] is prime. A thinly veiled list of the Mersenne primes.

A good thought, though. Turtle does love an interesting numeric pattern. (and he’s not the only one! ;))

The best way to summon a Turtle might be to send a Racoon.
Likely both are on 5627! We await the return of these brave explorers into the nether reaches of the volcanically nervous Cascade wilderness.

I hope he took his 2515...

Colorfully, :girlneener:

Thanks folks. I find I'm critically overexposed and understocked and I need to recoupe. A turtle all the way out of its shell, is a dead turtle. :hihi:

Ah, but it's wonderful to see that you have not left us, my friend. :D

If you wait long enough, there's no telling what will happen; on the other hand, if you don't wait long enough, there's no telling what will happen. Your numbers of course, as always, Perfect.

6+6+6+5=23 which is a prime number consisting of digits containing the smallest two primes!

666+5=The Beast & Pentagram.   :hyper:

Since I had a half-day of school today, I decided to make an honorary cyanotype in... well... honor of Turtle, who has yet to return from his shell-batical.

I call it CyanoTurtle

As you sayeth, so shellith it beeth. Thank you for letting me use your Cyano-Turtle cyanotype as my avatar. :turtle: It does resemble me remarkably.

Ah contraire mon ami; an unveiled list of the Perfect numbers hiding in plain view. ;)

Speaking of which, I must return to hiding in plane view myself; adieu. :turtle:
