freeztar Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 This is a lego sculpture in the lagoon at Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL.It dips in and out of the water. This dragon is probably the culprit of some massive time wasting on behalf of the makers, but what a fine waste of time. :hihi: Queso 1
TheBigDog Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I am starting off simple. This is not the flashiest architecture in the world, and certainly no Rourk, but it is close to my heart. TheBigDog's House
Tormod Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 My second entry was taken on a cloudy and ice cold day. It is the roof of the Fram museum. Fram was the ship that brought Roald Amundsen to the Antarctic on his famous 1910 expedition (when he beat Scott to the South Pole). Title: Museum
freeztar Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 I took this one last monday (my b-day!) at Panama City Beach in Florida, with this very contest in mind. For some reason they just blew my mind. I'm sure it mainly has to do with the fact that I have come to this beach since a child and could not believe the massive development (notice the crane). But there was also this bewilderment at how artificial these buildings looked. They looked like a painted backdrop amongst the environment. Too bad it doesn't quite come through on the pic, but hopefully the stark contrast is enough to fool your brain into recollecting the same phenomena I observed. :)
