TheBigDog Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 When I took these pictures I was not thinking about the topic of this photo contest, so they may have a family member in them. I have also gone with a more subtle route than some of the other entries, stay away from "grand architecture" and instead focusing on simplicity, or even what we take for granted. From left to right... "Flooded by design" - This is from a park in Oklahoma where we spent some time relaxing while on a drive to Texas. The road was designed to have the river flowing over it. The road is one way and we drove around the mile loop three times to drive through the river over again. Great fun! "Dino Playground" - What could be more fun than climbing a dinosaur? My sister in the foreground, my offspring on the rear leg and spine. "Snow Fort" - #2 spent all day fashioning snow bricks and making this fort. It is topped with a peice of plywood which was then covered with snow. Grand architecture? No, but every kid has been there. "Aquarium Window" - I marvel at the invention of these windows that let us experience underwater worlds. You can't see the window too well, and that is precisly the point. (Sea World in Texas) Bill
