IrishEyes Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 This is just to make sure that all of our Southern Asian friends and members made it through the storm ok. We know that Tinny is in Malaysia. I've already sent an e-mail in that direction. I'll let you all know when I hear something. If any of the rest of you are in the area where the storm hit, please give us a post and let us know how you and your family made it through, ok? Also, if there is anything that your friends here at Hypography can do, please let us know. Thanks so much!! Quote
Tormod Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Thanks, Irish. You beat me to it. Quote
IrishEyes Posted January 3, 2005 Author Report Posted January 3, 2005 OK guys... looks like TINNY is back. YAHOO!!! Quote
TINNY Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 what is this? i am really surprised at your over-concern. what's the matter? DIdn't you get my email - more than a week ago. and the PM? how strange. but i appreciate it anyway. thanks. you're such a momma. well, more like my granny. it was a coincidence that the strike occurred at the time when i went home and then started the new semester at school. so i didn't have any internet access. and irish must have got a scare. right now i'm in Kuala Lumpur, completing some tasks at the website during this weekend. then i'll have to be offline for a while again. IrishEyes Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 you're such a momma. well, more like my granny. No, I didn't get any e-mails or PMs. Very strange stuff, indeed. I'm way too young to even be your momma, Tinny, so you better watch it with that 'Granny" crap, or I'll kick your butt, ok? :) Quote
alexander Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I think Irish is hurt, Tinny didnt mean it Irish, plus you shouldn't always take people literaly, literaly. I'm way too young to even be your momma, Tinny, so you better watch it with that 'Granny" crap, or I'll kick your butt, okNope, definately hurt... nice quote though, i think i'll use it as my next signature... lol, i'd have to make it sound better though, how's this: IrishEyes at her best:... you better watch it with that ... crap, or I'll kick your butt ... Watch it, or she will come after you next! :) Too bad we dont have a finger pointing back at the writer Quote
IrishEyes Posted January 14, 2005 Author Report Posted January 14, 2005 oh alex, stop making fun of me and design a fabulous new avatar just for ME to make up for Tinny hurting my feelings, ok? :hihi: and if you don't - i'll kick YOUR butt, ok?? (talk about me at my BEST! HAHA) Quote
IrishEyes Posted January 14, 2005 Author Report Posted January 14, 2005 and just for the record, i'm younger than our Fearless Leader, and we all know he's not THAT terribly old, right? Surely not old enough to be Tinny's Grampy... Or maybe they start really young in Norway too? Quote
alexander Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 I'll do it Irish, but first you need to come up with a list of things that represent you, because an avatar has to represent you, then i'll throw some ideas around, and in a few weeks you might have what you want! (not to make up for Tinny, just because i'm nice like that) P.S. Age only makes smart people smarter, wise people wiser and nice people nicer. We would like you around here no matter the age, its whats inside that really counts! Quote
Tormod Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 and just for the record, i'm younger than our Fearless Leader, and we all know he's not THAT terribly old, right? Surely not old enough to be Tinny's Grampy... Or maybe they start really young in Norway too? Oh, when I was about 10 I was already singing in the national opera here in Oslo. TRUE! When I turned 22 I was just finished with my Bachelor of Music degree. I had some stupid idea that I wanted to get married before I was 28 and have children before thirty (and for some reason I almost managed both...although I turned thirty one month before Jenny was born). At 32 I got my first "real" job - my current one. At 34 I am the Fearless leader for a bunch of never-do-wells who spend all their time in a "science forum". :hihi: Age has it's consequences... Quote
