[Queso]

Whenever I'm in love with a sequence of words I project them into space.

 

For instance, I'll draw on posterboard or something the sentence, or poem, and I'll keep it up there until it's imprinted in my psyche.

My walls are fluttering pages and mandalas.

Sheet music and poetry.

 

That way I can memorize it, tear it down, and then I have a new brain and more outward space to work with.

Now I lay me down to sleep.

Just a child among the sheep.

I hope and pray that I'll awake,

A golden eagle and not a snake.
