aubman247 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Hi there, I'm in a bit of a dilemma... I dont know what my control is for my science project :) Well I'm making a battery using different combinations of fruits and metals to try to see which produces the most current... (pretty much cut and dry which is the reason i chose it ) but i dont know what my control is. My teacher told me my control it was my hypothesis...? I also dont know what my direct or indirect variables are? Or do they even apply here because its not really a science project its more like a demonstration? Any help would be appreciated :) Quote
pgrmdave Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I believe that the variables would be the different fruits and metals, and there wouldn't really need to be a control. The control is what you would compare it to, but since you are comparing each one to each other, each experiment can be both a test and a control, depending on how it is being used. Quote
