He started apologizing to me.

Yes the french fry story is true.

 

I still remember the poor kid, depressed and

frustrated, standing in front of the fryolater.

It wasn't bad enough that he had the crappy job,

but now he was being chastised in public.

 

And the overweight boss guy turning a shade of red,

acting like this was just one more proof that all of his

employees were idiots, and they were the cause of

all of his problems.

 

And it was one of the rare occasions that what I said

actually made some kind of sense. :lol:

 

 

Yes, Fast food nation, the dark side of the all American meal.

That is the book that made me understand why I did not

want to eat the food served in the cafeteria back in high school.

 

Don't eat the french fries, or the hamburgers.

There is a reason they only cost .99 cents. :lol:

I am pretty sure Fast Food Nation was a book first.

My paperback has a copyright of 2001.

 

But the promos for the movie did not fit the story line of the book.

 

Artistic interpretation can be far from reality i guess.

 

The ideas the book presents as facts are pretty disgusting indeed !:lol:
