InfiniteNow Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 :eek2: I used to call on Drs. J.A.Wheeler and Nobel Laureate Weinberg when they shared a suite of offices at the University of Texas. Does anyone know how they are doing now? A few months ago I went to a talk with Dr. Weinberg titled "Much Ado about Nothing." It was in regard to our current understanding of the structure of the universe, and was really cool. I had to leave work early to get to campus, and the room was packed... people lined up against the wall, sitting on the floor. I guess he's doing well. Check out his page on the UTexas website for more: Professor Steven Weinberg Not sure about Dr. Wheeler, but I just found out that my old astronomy professor Don Winget, who got me interested in physics and astronomy to begin with is now the chair of the department!
