Hello from "hug" to everyone. I look forward to participating in Science Forums.

I live in Northern California and study science and philosophy regarding human social-moral nature and morality in general. Yes, I think I typed that right. I also write about the subject and how we might/could/should utilize a better understanding of ourselves to help address the various issues we face together and help live together well.

I like to have fun too.

I was educated at a great west-coast university (Go Bears!) and at a fun (but cold in the winter!) eastern university that has its big game each year against Yale. That said, I got most of my real education regarding the world and its ways and inhabitants after graduating from school, which was not yesterday. I'm a bit older than I once was (!), but still here, having some fun, and hopefully playing a helpful role in our common journey.

I will start out in a thread that I'll mention here, in a future post, soon, and I'll revisit this thread (here) every once in awhile if that's possible, to see if anyone just wants to say "hi". Also, I'll be hanging out periodically in threads that have to do with improving the world, philosophy, morality, human nature, psychology, and related stuff.

I like Bob Dylan, Shakespeare, Emerson, Montaigne, Jefferson, and many others (Joni Mitchell, etc.) and nature, and the beach, and . . .

That's it for now. Gotta go.

Hug
