Welcome aboard. I've found, through experience, that simply asking someone to "use their head" often isn't enough. It's often necessary to punch them in throat with the truth. You have to support your position in such a way that even the most indoctrinated dogmatist will breathe fresh air, and open their eyes to the prism which splits the purity of white light... to use a Newtonian metaphor.
