Boerseun Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Doing a search for the frequencies of different colours, I found a link to "whites". Following it, I came upon this gem...Whites" redirects here. For other uses, see White (disambiguation). The term "white people" (also "whites" or "white race") has been defined as "being a member of a group or race characterized by light pigmentation of the skin" and "to a human group having light-colored skin, especially of European ancestry." white people are basically bad. they use up all the worlds resources, and like fingers in their butts. they eat hot doggs, and play baseball while opressing the rest of the world. I thought I'd paste it here before they change it! Have you found any Wiki screwups in your searches? If you had, paste them here before they get edited out as a monument to idiocy! ;) Quote
Guest chendoh Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Whoever that was, that wrote that definition, has definitly been reading too many news reports. I am still trying to make sense of the Finger, Butt, Hotdog analogy.....I guess yoiu had to be there. Quote
Qfwfq Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Well I don't get the "fingers in their butts" but hot dogs and playing baseball are pretty much American things, so it's an obvious insinuation. It'll be spotted as vandalism and edited out. Edit: already has been. Quote
Nootropic Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 One of the strangest things I had ever seen was that someone had scrawled "nigger" onto a picture of that South Korean Scientist who faked the cloning (gah, I forget his name). I believe this is what sparked their locking of pictures on the front page. Quote
Tarantism Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 its sometimes bad that wiki can be edited by anyone. wouldnt it even be a breach of the "neutrality rule" to allow this article to exist? Quote
Monomer Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 I remember hearing that the guy that set up Wiki had noticed incorrect information in numerous articles and was trying to make sure that it was all accurate. Apparently he didn't know that he liked playing chess until he read it on Wiki. Quote
