Within excited atom of X-ray fluorescent sources, X-ray cause the optical spectrum as its second generation. The dominant UV radiation intensity was detected with photomultiplier tube 9635QB from THORN EMI and a pair of sheet polarizers. http://www.geocities.com/raomap/discovery1.html Significantly, the findings reveal one Rb X-ray photon has caused nearly 28 light photons, though Rb salt is opaque to light. From a single XRF source, both X-ray and atomic spectra can be obtained. This fascinating subatomic research can be conducted with simple and inexpensive equipment.
