Introduction

Hello.

 

I'm Ken. I found this forum during a web search, and was immediately attracted to it.

 

I spent my professional life teaching, among other subjects, research methods and the underlying concepts of science. I enjoy debating and have a few ideas that I'll be contributing to some of the threads.

 

My original training was in a branch of Experimental Psychology called Physiological Psych or Bio-Psych. My specialization was in sensory physiology, especially of vision. ;) I also developed competence in Behavior Modification and did most of my consulting in that area.

 

I'm now retired and do Mediation and Arbitration, and am a licensed professional boxing judge.

 

Looking forward to some lively discussions.

;) The running joke is that since I do mediation and arbitration as well; I will try to help folks reach a mutually satisfying resolution of a problem through mediation, if that doesn't work I will arbitrate and reach a decision to settle the dispute, and if that isn't satisfactory I'll hold their coats while they battle it out and judge who won.
