Age of consent is always a controversial thing, if you are a young man you think it should be based on looks only if you are a father you think it should be about 30. In NC the only thing that matters is the age, no accommodation is given for sexual orientation or what you believed to be true. In other words you better check their photo ID before having sex!

as a father of two girls I think 30 is a bit young unless they produce grandchildren. Then anything is OK

Obviously they said something like 'the state you ran had abolished its senate, the State governor was your rubber stamp and you turned your Freedom Of Information laws into Freedom From Information laws to ignore abused children, what can you tell us about politics that we don't already know from studying despots?'

Amnesty (Australia) has just slammed the aquital of the rape of the 10 year old girl by juveniles and adults. They say legally a 10 year old under international law cannot give permission to sex, let alone rape.

 

This seems a good idea.
