donno Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Greetings from the San Francisco Bay Area! I stumbled upon Hypography.com while researching "Terra Preta Del Indio," the 'dark earth' of the Amazon. I consider myself somewhat web savvy, and was amazed that I have never seen this site before. I knew I had to join up and start posting. You may wonder, why the name "Donno?" Well, because there are too many things that I don't know, but am eager to learn. My interests include bio-intensive gardening, hydroponics, clean power systems, biomimicry, gaia-theory, and filtration technologies. I have a pretty open mind, and look forward to sharing and learning. I believe that you can learn something from everyone. I need help with basic mechanics, electrical engineering, and chemistry. My greatest strength is as an 'idea person.' I come up with some off of the wall ideas, and often need help "dotting the i's and crossing the t's." I don't have that much formal education, but am an active student of life. I, Donno. TheFaithfulStone 1 Quote

"I love you already:loved:The two towns I loved in USA were SF and New Orleans.SF was a bit of a disappointment at first after flying in a sardine can for 30 hours- gum trees everywhere, harbour, etc -It looked just like home! Funny I don't think there is a Gaia thread here yet. With lots of hard bitten scientist here they may put it in the religion forum:doh: We have a new environment forum so a Gaia threa could be interesting. Tthere has been a recent USA breakthrough in filtration technology using a combination of heat and filtration. Have you seen it? Welcome to the Hypography Gardening Forums! Your name in English (not American) Means "I am not a member of the maffia"In Australia you would be called Idar no When I am off my pills I have lots of ideas too.My wife says 1 in 100 are worth-while.
