Mike Adams Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 While searching for more information on multivariate "Binary Discrimination" I had the good fortune of coming across the Hypography Science Forum. Not only did I find some useful information, but was further impressed by many of the other posts and overall forum content. It's pleasing to see a forum with a well-written and meaningful set of forum rules the likes of which seem to be reasonably well enforced. From the dozen or more threads and posts I read earlier this afternoon things appear to be far more well-managed. Being a most welcome treat and rather sharp contrast to PhysOrg, where anything goes. Outstanding job Admins! Having been a member of PhysOrg for nearly a year now, I've lost my desired to submit any new original posts, particularly during the past month or so. When our threads turn into to ONLINE CHATROOMS bloated with one-on-one conversations which should more appropriately be conducted in PM, such replies nearly always go quickly Off-Topic and end up obfuscating the original thread. In all honesty, the over-tolerance of such nonsense and complete lack of any reasonable order has completely driven me way. Please feel free to PM me and touch-base, particularly if you're familiar with my writing content on PhysOrg and also a member here on the HSF! By the way "Popular" (aka Farsight) I was so impressed with your submission entitled "Charge Explained" posted this past Saturday in the Physics and Mathematics section of the forum, it earned you another well-deserved Rep approval entry. Beautifully researched, well-written and layed out. Superb effort! Quote
