CraigD Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 As it seems I’m guilty of off-topicing the 11725 theology thread (with this post about dice), I’d like to divert further off-topicing, and invite everyone with an affection for dice of all shapes, sizes, and media to share his or her tales, musings, and any other thoughts dice-related. We’re out there, and need not be ashamed of the accoutrements of our geekish pasts, presents, and/or futures. Dice are cool! :) Quote
Mercedes Benzene Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 I am guilty of having played D&D occasionally when I was a child, so there was much dice activity as a young person. :) But I promise, I'm not that much of a nerd. :D Anyway, aside from dorky role playing games, I used to collect dice, just because I always thought they were cool. As a result, I have quite a collection of a wide variety of geometric tossables. Next to Baccarat, my favorite games to play are dice-related. Craps, yahtzee, etc. Quote

Dice are cool! :) i have 4 dice from d&d i think; a friend gave them. they are orange regular polyhera with arabic numerals. tetrahedron, cube, dodecahedron, icosahedron. do they make an octohedron too? i invented a game with them; i'll see if i wrote it down. i mostly got them for their regular polyhedronhood. the tetrahedron is very hard to spin. :D :) Quote
