clapstyx Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 In Australia there is a cultural revolution happening as more and more people consider the desireability of pursuing symbiotic harmony as a positive objective. This has started (or added a continuation) to the battle of the sexes. At this stage the girls are one up because they are now beginning to wear T'shirts that say things like "I only F#*! guys who plant trees" For those of you who dont yet think on a symbiotic level the girls see it this way. "If you wont show respect to me by respecting the planet and doing some diligence towards solving the global environmental problems your going to miss out on some lovin honey" This creates a symbiotic link between the sexual fortunes of the male and the fortunes of his planet in a symbiotic way. Its starting to emerge that one "session" is worth 6 trees rooted in the ground, but whose to say the price wont go up until atmospoheric CO2 is stabilised. The girls here are of the opinion that if every woman on the planet said just once something along the lines of "I only F#*! guys who plant trees" and held out until men responded then mankind would realise that it was in their best interests to solve the problem and keep their women happy. You would then have a period where rather a lot of people were making an extra degree of effort. Since this is very new in Australia and I havent heard of it occurring overseas yet I was wondering if it was occurring anywhere else ? Quote
KatherineLee Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 This is without a doubt one of the weirdest thing I have heard all week. Are you being serious? Well, I'm from the midwest region of the US, and I obviously have not heard of this because I am pretty much convinced you are joking around here... Quote
Buffy Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Are you being serious? They're quite serious Katherine. If you haven't spent much time down under, you might not know that most Aussie guys--unlike our suave and incredibly cute Jay-qu--are just this side of Neanderthals when it comes to women... :( Liberated and scary as heck,Buffy Quote
InfiniteNow Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 At this stage the girls are one up because they are now beginning to wear T'shirts that say things like "I only F#*! guys who plant trees"This could be interpreted as a size joke. "No guy packing just a bush will enter mine..." Kidding aside, I am glad that the OZ ladies are stepping up, and using their most effective method of persuasion to do so. However, I find it rather sad that we can't be held to do this on our own. At some point we need to realize the inherent good in certain actions, and not limit our efforts to just those with the instantly gratified reward. If only mother nature had a better waist to hip ratio...   Quote
