I'm just wondering something, what exactly was it that was responsible for the materials that ultimately created our solar system. There is now significantly more evidence now that the materials that created our solar system came from a supernova from what I've read.

But the one thing I am wondering is that if it did come from a supernova, where, or what was the original star that produced it?
