Tormod Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 I am going to set up an "endless" science quiz and I need questions! Just about everything goes as long as it's related to science in any way. Post your questions and at least 3 options, and send the answer to me in a PM. As in: Q: What was Einstein's given name?A1: AstorA2: AlbertA3: Avery Also please feel free to link to a resource where I can check the fact if you have one (makes it easier for me). Jay-qu Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 sounds cool, how do you mean endless? and is this for hypo? Quote
freeztar Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Should these questions be PM'd to you? Quote
Tormod Posted August 2, 2007 Author Report Posted August 2, 2007 "Endless" simply means that this is a quiz that picks a random question from a huge pool, and goes on and on, while the respondent collects points. So when you take it *again*, you keep upping your score. Ideally you should be able to get far without seeing the same question twice. :) Feel free to post the questions here for now. Quote
TheBigDog Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 During the drive to the launchpad for the first successful manned space launch, Yuri Gagarin had the driver stop so he could do something which has become a tradition followed by all cosmonauts since then. What is the tradition started by Yuri? A) He urniated on the rear tire of the car. He saluted both the control building and the launch tower. C) He had his picture taken with the launch tower and rocket in the background. Quote
ronthepon Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Excellent style for putting a question though. Makes a quiz a lot more interesting if all the options aren't all about geeky knowledge. Quote
