The Mountain looks like a giant white Trapezoid! :) No noticable billowing....I have felt seismic activity within the last 9 - 10 days... Quote

We may never know. ;) Thanks for the props on the fasting post. I didn't do any research on my response, and was just shooting from the hip, but glad it worked for ya. Turtle Posted February 19, 2006 Author Report Posted February 19, 2006 ___It is 8 PM here & decidedly dark; nonetheless, if you go to the Volcano Cam just now the 850+ deg F glowing lava is visible as a bright dot in an otherwise digital noise field.http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/ Quote
Racoon Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 ___Here is the current image from the volcano-cam. I have circled in red the area of high temperature on the dome I referred to above. I circled in green an area I find suspicious; in the last weeks it has remained snow free. It may simply be a steep slope, but other steep areas have snow & I wonder if it is snow free due to heat. I'm keeping my eye on it.:) Too Bad only Portland People can really see it so close! :) Cool thumbnail Turtle! Quote
Turtle Posted April 27, 2006 Author Report Posted April 27, 2006 ___Great view of the volcano right now.
