In Irish, it's "Dia leat" which means God is with you/ God be with you.

Hello in Irish is also "Dia duit" (God on you/to you)

It's a very Deicentric language :confused:

i simply don't know how i missed responding to the op lo these many years. nonetheless, a response i do have as to how to answer a sneeze.

 

If you want to make a person feel better after they sneeze, you shouldn't say 'God bless you.' You should say 'You're so good lookin'!'
