well....my name's jason.

i live in florida, but plan to move back to my hometown in california in a few months.

i'm an experimental guitar player, and recording engineer.

i joined this site because i am so interested in everything, and this seems like a good source for it.

you can check out some other stuff at http://www.mediapimp.net/jason

which is just my website just for the hell of it.

about 10 minutes ago i climbed through my window, after sitting in my backyard getting music ideas from the sounds outside.

i swear i heard things that don't even exist, and after i write this post i'm going to go attempt to create.

my favorite quote of all time:

"don't give in without a fight" - pink floyd

my lava lamp doesn't have the top peice that covers the bottle cap thing.

what else is there to know, aye?

ahhh awesome.

well, i pretty much play anything. i love all kinds of music.

i have a marshall mode 4 amp, which is practically my life savings. also i have a gibson les paul standard, an '83 explorer, and some other random guitars.

i'm an effects slut. i am obsessed with crazy tones, and making up things no one has ever heard.

though, i know when to keep it simple, and am a big fan of vintage tones.

and as for recording engineer, i have a pro tools hd system sitting right here in my bedroom. whenever i move out, i'm going to set up a studio. i became a pro tools certified operator a few couple years ago.

i don't take it too seriously though, i mess around with it and record my own stuff just for fun. it's what i love and it passes the time.

what about you?
