Well the special effects are a bit better than The Trip, but its a bit long for an anti-drug public service message (even though it does a better job of making drugs look bad than "This is your brain on drugs").

 

Cinematographically, its interesting, but I'd hardly call it beautiful.

 

So what's your point and why is this in Chemistry, Orb?

I just wanted to share it, in my opinion it's beautiful.

Love how the curanderos voice harmonizes with the didjeridoo. mmmm . .

it's chemistry because the man drank ayahuasca. a vine (tryptamine) and leaf (mao inhibitor) concoction.

It's from the french film "blueberry"

the film makers actually went to peru to partake in a ceremony.

the voice you hear singing was their shaman.

 

the little death is hardly that intense. quite exaggerated.
