Confusion and Logic

I was just looking around my CP and stumbled across something the reminded me of this thread. I know it's an old thread and heaven knows how far up it's going to be bumped but im going to post the answer to all those that took part many moons ago :xparty:

 

Whether you care or not for the answer i dont know, but to all those that do, the situation was.... he and his mates were travelling over a desert in a hot-air balloon when it began to lose altitude. They tried getting rid of excess weight to gain height, including their clothes.... it didnt work. So they all drew straws to see which one of them would get out, easing the load allowing the others to continue. He drew the short straw, which was the stick :D
