Mycology as in mushrooms great! excellent! or medical mycology?

Something else to add to the Hypography Garden Forums (We will be dropping the word "Science" shortly as it is mis-leading):rolleyes:

 

A long time frustrated, interest of mine. I haver been on a bush-walk to two with the Sydney University Mycology Group. It is amazing how much we found in a local bush reserve. Even a few the Prof. with us did not know. When you start to really look- musshies are everywhere.

 

I am also interested in medical mycology and soil mycology (see the Terra preta sub-forum "Wee beasties" & "critters")

 

You may be interested in two threads I started one on Vit D & Mushrooms. Seems if you :smilingsun:burst, cave cultivated ones with a ray or two of sunshine the Vit D level soar! So much so that the US, FDA was considering making this mandatory among mushroom growers. This would be a great boon to preventative medicine.

You can just subscribe to the discussion/thread, without posting, if you like and you will get copies of recent posts and can then jump in when you want & feel comfortable.

I am the Hypography Champion of shooting my mouth off at the moment.

So far I have had no death threats , well, if you exclude the moderators anyway. :cheer:

 

On the nuclear side of things there is also the thread "Are Thorium Reactors Better" I still don't know; -plus lots of others. A "tag" search is the best way of finding them.

Don't be afraid to revive ancient, inactive threads.

I and many others here enjoy this happening.
