tribal Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 I found this forum after watching Children of Men. I was simply looking for a discussion board, googled "children of men and forum" and this site popped up. Cool, huh? I'm just an average girl, surrounded by abnormally above average people. (my husband and all of our friends are very intelligent.) They provide constant reminders of how much I do not know, yet they also give the stimulation I need to trudge on in my persuit of knowledge. Chances are, I will feel very inadequate in most discussions, but I will try to participate anyway. Although, most of my participations will probably be questions. My username is reflective of my current quest in life, to find the primal instincts in life that make me happy and still remain part of my "tribe." My husband and I are searching for the courage to make decisions based on satisfaction rather than decisions based on society-based guilt. By profession, I am a neonatal nurse. I am slowly in the process of changing fields. I am currently attending art classes and am finding that I am quite good at what I do. What a nice change from finding that I am normally insufficient in my hobbies. :D Hopefully this is a good enough introduction. I am looking forward to many stimulating conversations. Quote
Buffy Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Greetings tribal! We can all feel inadequate around here, but fortunately that doesn't stop most of us! Come on down and have some fun!Buffy Quote
Mercedes Benzene Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 This was one of the better intros that we get around here! Welcome to Hypography. You seem as if you'll be right at home here.:DEnjoy! Quote
tribal Posted September 24, 2007 Author Report Posted September 24, 2007 Thank you so much for the welcome! I just told my husband about this site and hope to introduce him to it soon. And if he stares at the forum to long,he can say I blinded him with science. (sorry, but the song has been in my head since I was on earlier.) Thanks again!! Quote
