Tormod Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Ok, folks, here's my latest guitar song. It's called "Moore or less", some of you will get the point of the title, some won't. ;) http://hypography.com/forums/tracks/moore_or_less.mp3 And please let me know what you think! Quote
Killean Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Yup, still love it and the guitars echo/reverb effects. I really wish the song could be changed to support dolby pro logic for my stereo system. Echos that fade behind you as you listen would be very awesome. Quote
Tormod Posted January 25, 2005 Author Report Posted January 25, 2005 I'll send you a CD, pal. Just have to publish it first. ;) Quote
IrishEyes Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 Ok, folks, here's my latest guitar song. It's called "Moore or less", some of you will get the point of the title, some won't. ;) And please let me know what you think! We like it, but didn't get the title til you told us. I'm tellin you though, watch the movie again and see if you don't heat what we hear... right when Goose dies... it's there, really it is ... ;) Quote
Tormod Posted January 26, 2005 Author Report Posted January 26, 2005 right when Goose dies... it's there, really it is ... ;) I think it was inevitable. I had worked on the Ode to Maverick track for a month when this song popped into my head. It took two days to finish, and frankly it's a better song than the first one, although the solo gets sloppy in places. So maybe this should be called "Ode to Goose" instead. ;) Quote

Tormod Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Posted February 1, 2005 what do you use to record? This song was recorded with FL Studio 5.0.1 using a PodXT running into an Audiophile soundcard. I also record into Ableton Live 4.1. your stuff sounds pretty good. the background chords give it a nice space for the lead. Thanks! :hyper: Quote
