Freeztar has given you good advice Mike.

you should take it or get some medication

What I was about to write was to promote the 'PUBLIC FINANCING OF OUR ELECTIONS' to get the influence money out of this government process.

This happens in Australia. Each vote is worth about $1.80 to the party you vote for.

It still has not changed the major parties (Labor, Liberal/Nats) having secret slush funds.

The new government has promised more "open' government. But I have seen too many episodes of "Yes Minister" and "Yes Prime Minister" to believe that.

A bit paranoid are we?

Mike, I seriously doubt anyone is monitoring your computer.

If you want to be sure, you can get a port monitor and look at the traffic coming in and out of your computer. I'd also recommend a good spyware program and AV software to protect against malicious attacks. But seriously, it's unlikely that people are remotely trying to shut down your computer because of your views.

I am not familiar with a 'port monitor'.

Where and how do I get one?

Since my last problem, I have PC Doctor now and Bug Doctor.

Christ and John the Baptist were in opposition to the elite Jews.

So you should know what happened to them.

Like I said, this is a serious business.

A DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST STATE revised

We are supposed to have a US Constitutional peoples government as the Constitution (CN) dictates.

However, the aversion of the conservatives to Democratic Socialism, have replaced it with corporate socialism and that is a clear violation of our CN and its intent of serving the people.

Our (CN) has outlawed the self serving individuals like kings, dictators, emperors, popes and any other 'self serving' individuals like capitalists and criminals.

The words democracy and republic, also have roots that portray democracy as Constitutionally mandated while republic is not mandated.

Democracy comes from the Greek root ‘people power’ while republic comes from the Latin root ‘wealth + public’(Merriam-Webster latest dictionary, 1998). Since the word people or citizens are common in the CN while the words ‘wealth’ or capitalism is not, then it is obvious that the definition of our political system is described as a Democracy.

So then the most logical way to Implement and restore our CN democracy is to PROMOTE the PUBLIC FINANCING OF OUR ELECTIONS by eliminating the corruptive influence of dollars that buy our politicians to serve these ‘self serving’ individuals.

This can be done by banning the private dollars from the government electoral function. Private dollars, that buy advertising to influence the electorate are NOT free speech and therefore can be legally banned.

Only government dollars should be used to finance this electoral function.

Through this process, the politicians would be free from having to solicit these corrupting dollars and direct their attention to the citizen issues. This would raise their ‘self respect’ and honesty and truly represent the citizens of our country.

Socialist is a form of government that would promote the people issues, such as the following:

Guaranteed jobs for all citizens.......... No unemployment!

Guaranteed pensions for all citizens.............For workers, management personnel, government employees and any other responsible citizens.

Guaranteed health care.............For all citizens that should include the ‘alternative’ health care practitioners.

And any other essential needs at a reasonable subsistence level.

All the details would be formatted by citizen committees.

The wonderful thing about this program is that one would not need to save any money. They can spend it all to contribute to a thriving economy that creates jobs. Only spent dollars contribute to a thriving economy. Wealthy corporate hoarded dollars DO NOT. Instead, these dollars are used to create mergers, buyouts of competitors and the ‘media’ to censor critics, downsizing and investing abroad.

All these tactics REDUCE jobs and contribute to the stagnation of our economy.

So with the Socialist system, they would not need religion either since security is what people want. This would be compatible with the ‘Separation of Church and State’ mandate in our CN.

Our current economy is a lopsided one now where the people that do the least have the highest incomes while the workers are and have had their incomes reduced to a barely subsistence level.

There are only two sources of ‘real tangible wealth’ (RTW). These sources are Nature as a commodity and the worker productions.

RTW is what we see and feel like the skyscrapers, bridges, highways, automobiles, homes and etc.

While on the other hand, the conservative capitalists creations are all in their heads. This is not tangible wealth. Therefore, workers deserve better and a fairer distribution of the RTW that they create.

However, in this Socialist state, ‘free enterprise’ would be allowed and government supported.

But there would be limitations on this accumulated wealth as determined by the citizens.

Income taxes could be graduated on SURPLUS income only, from a rate of about 95% for the top earners to a bottom rate of about 5% for the minimum earners. This type of tax would not affect the current living lifestyles of the citizens and even the capitalists.

Any other details can be worked out to restore our economy to a more balanced state...

Of course, all these reforms would result from the government financed and modified electoral system in accordance with the Constitutional mandate of the ballot box and NOT through any revolutionary means by radical communists or coup d’etat power conspiracies. .

No Mike, we are supposed to be a 'representative republic', technically and at the time the CN was written, very few of the total citizenry. There is no mention in the CN of a Democracy and most references to one by the founders was a fear of such a government.

As you should now know, there were two offered amendments, never ratified to the original ten 'Bill of Rights". House Apportionment and Nobility.

No person with a 'Title' could be nominated or elected to a Federal Office.

Aside from this, there is very little in the CN as to who is qualified and was left to the States. Washington and Adams, opposed to Jefferson and many others decided Mr. President and traditionally this and many titles from taking office, follow a person on through life. Mr. Speaker, Senator etc...all titles.

The right of 'Free Speech' has been interpreted to mean the means the speech is offered and vindicated many times by the Supreme court. I would agree the 'money issue' prevents many qualified people from running, in some cases maybe being elected, however money has rarely been the sole reason.

The CN, you continue to mention and through amendments already gives every US Citizen (in many cases being in the US) certain rights. These include the right to pursue a job, save/invest for retirement or NOT TO and insist that these are also rights. The rights of individuals to choose, is the basis of our system. No place does it mandate responsibility for those that make poor choices or in fact fail to achieve, by those that do succeed.

Any change in the Federal Government, should not come through the 'Ballot Box' or public opinion, if the CN is going to be the base of our system. The process for amending, should be used and in ratification by the State Legislatures (different methods) 3/4ths, majority MAY be achieved.

I do agree, the issue is of importance to every US citizen and possibly to most folks around the world, as we develop into a world community. My reasons are a little different and my concerns are for maintaining a much of the original concepts presented by those founders. Activist Judges and elected officials motivated by personal agenda (not National Interest) are becoming far to common, the true fear of those that set up the longest lasting 'Choice/Elected' governing system. If nothing else, remember the US (United States) is a Union of today 50 Governments, with what should be common interest.

Explain why it is important to steal the money that one man has earned to give it to someone else that didn't earn it. Additionally explain how it is moral to do so.

The only people that truly earn their money are the working people.

Brains do NOT create any REAL TANGIBLE WEALTH. This RTW is the kind of wealth you can see and feel.

Ideas and dreams or greed does not represent REAL money.

Only HANDS create the RTW that we all want like the houses, cars and etc.

Brains can only conceive what they want but they need a pair of hands to create the real substance.

Incidentaly, 'fangs and claws (capitalism) is waging war against 'HANDS' (workers) to reduce them to nothing but a commodity to be used at their conveniece and then discarded.

If you are through rambling and mumbling you could get to the meat of the questions. By what moral right do you STEAL the money that one man has earned and give it to another that hasn't earned it?

I do not quite understand who is stealing from who and giving to who?

As I have said, the only people that create the 'real tangible wealth' are the workers (hands).

Taxation is taking the money a man has earned, stealing, and giving it away in the form of welfare to those that didn't earn it is the whom.

Consider the oil baron. He spends his money to buy land, equipment and pay people to search for oil and they find it. Are you trying to say that the revenue from his find is not his earnings because he didn't personally put his hands on a shovel?

The capitalist is simply harvesting the oil created millions of years ago by using the workers to restore it for him.

Likewise, the harvesting of trees is another similar way of harvesting capital Nature has created.

Technically, he does not create it. Justs harvests it for himself by using others.

So he claims most of the resulting wealth for himself!

I do not question his share of this wealth since he has claimed it to a degree. The question is how much does he deserve and how much does the workers deserve?

The US Constitution mandates taxation. Do you say he does not owe the government any taxes?

I say he does.

IOW he should just keep his money in his pocket and not spend it to provide jobs for the people making the equipment and those using it to search for oil on the land he has bought?

The worker's deserve what they have earned with their work, nothing more They do not deserve a share of his mineral rights on the land the oil baron purchased on which to search for oil. If they find no oil do you think the workers should pay him for allowing them to work there?

Mike, you have admitted before that people that don't actually create product with their hands earn their money (such as sales and marketing people). Are you reversing yourself once again?

No, It isn't the reason of my criticizing capitalism. It is simply that the distribution of the wealth is being kept by the people that do the harvesting of these 'natural' goods and keeping practically most of the wealth for themselves.

In the US economy, the top earners have incomes of about a HALF billion a year while the minimum wage earners have incomes of about 15,000 a year.

This is a ratio of 99+ to one.

Since this is a lopsided distribution of the wealth. our economy is sinking into a depression and evening out to the third world level.

So this UNequal distribution of the wealth that the workers actually create is my complaint about capitalism.

Our country is governed by a government elected by the citizens.

Who granted him the right to own any land? Who built the equipment that he uses for drilling for oil? The workers made that equipment originally.

This is 'tangible equipment made by some other industry.

Our country and its industry is a working partnership harvesting natures wealth. There should be a better and more equitable distribution of this wealth.

The Constitution implies your right to own private land. If you don't like the Constitution of the United States maybe you should try a nation with your point of view, perhaps Cuba or North Korea.

Then why do you keep saying that no one but the workers that build things with their own hands deserve to make money??

If you don't believe that, why say it, as you so often do?

I AGREE with you that there is too large a disparity between most CEOs and the front line workers. But you keep throwing out these silly statements that do nothing to advance your point.

I do NOT endorse communism. If you read the entire article, you would notice that I refuted communism as the source of my Brand of Socialism.

It is based on the Constitutional mandat of promoting a 'peoples reprentative government'.
