Admittedly, I could not resist this!!

*high pitch wail*

Charles Darwin, I choose you! *throws a pokeball into the middle of the forum*

I've always wondered whether humans could have another human as a spirit animal?

I mean humans are animals of a sorts too aren't they?

My totem is the Thunderbird it visited me when I was 11. The kestrel was been with me ever since that time as a messenger. I have been giving readings using totem cards for about 8 years, here's what they say about Raccoon.

Raccoon..... protector of the underdog,

provider for those how have none.

Do you wear the bandit’s mask

To hide the good deeds that you’ve done ?

Raccoon carries the medicine of the protector of the underdog and provider of the young, infirm, and elderly. Often called “Little Bandit” by southern tribes, this robin hood of the animal kingdom teaches us about generosity and caring for others.

Raccoon people have an uncanny ability to assist others without allowing them to become victims or dependents. Like the tribes of old, Raccoon tends to the needs of tribe before taking anything for itself.

Thanks for posting TBird. Good ol' Little Bandit! :hihi: A couple questions: What do your cards say about turtles? Is there a mean and/or undesirable power animal?

Here's a clip I shot with your Kestrel at a local wildlife preserve; it's after the Heron. :hihi:

Turtle; Mother earth

Turtle...Great mother,

Feed my spirit,

Clothe my heart,

That I my serve you to.

In native American teaching, Turtle is the oldest symbol for planet earth. It is the personification of goddess energy, and the eternal Mother from which our lives evolve.

We are born of the womb of the earth, and to her soil our bodies will return. In honoring the earth, we are asked by Turtle to be mindful of the cycle of give and take, to give back to the mother as she has given to us.

Turtle is a fine teacher of the art of grounding. You may even overcome your “space cadet” tendencies if you align with Turtle Medicine. In learning to ground, you are placing your focus on your thoughts and actions and slowing to a pace that assures completion

To right ill-dignified turtle, you need to only list the things your are grateful for, and from that grateful place in your heart, look for the abundance of alternatives that Mother Earth gives.

Evil does not exist in nature when the powers are in balance.

The rabbit may fear the wolf for the wolf has given the rabbit its speed. There are no bad totem animals only ones that are not being utilized to their fullest. These Totem symbols are nothing more than aspects of nature personified in the form of animals. Components we all share. just as we all contain the same basic DNA.

Thanks for the clip Turtle:)

I know what my power animal is I've known it since I was a little kid, but I thought you weren't supposed to tell anyone your power animal's form, at least not everyone, just very special people or person.
