astrocuriousstudent Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 I am a senior in high school with high ambitions in trying to laern as much as I can with science related subjects, such as quantam mechanics, and also other more obscure areas that nobody really knows much about yet, such as "what really lies in the singularity of a black hole? does the matter just sit there, or is it emptied in dimensions further from our reach?" I am also interested in learning more about theories such as the superstring theory (membrane theory I think it is also known as) Dark matter also has also been a large part of my fruitless research lately. anything available to the public is usually very bland, and I dont liketo trust wikipedia very much because anybody can go on and just mess with the page. Anyway, if someone can point me in the right direction for any of these topics, that would be amazing. Thanks, oh, and I hope that was a good enough intro for the moderators that gave the "tips for Introducing yourself" kidding though... I'm just kinda long-winded. Quote
Queso Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 welcome home. I'm also on the very fringe of science where it slips into this rainbow colored event horizon that glows golden in the night ('course ya can't see it, but you can feel it.) nothing I like more than learning. peace Quote
