Scornic Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Hey, I was searching google for interesting forums, since my current home's server has been down for three days. I had well over 2,000 posts there, and their community respects intelligent, well-written posts, so I hope to become just as respected here. I'm not sure how your rules differ from theirs, so if someone could post a link to any of the rules threads I should read (I am already going to read announcements as soon as I finish this post), that would be great. Let's see, besides surfing forums in my free time, I am currently attending the University of Arizona to get a degree in Architecture. I enjoy working out, hanging out with friends from my church, hunting, Kung Fu, and free-running. I have been a member of the internet for the past... probably eight years. It all started with Starcraft... The first forums I posted on were probably Runescape, (I don't know how you guys feel about that game, I normally see hostility towards it, and before you insult me, I played it when I was young, and stopped playing it long ago. Yes I do know it is stupid.) What else to say? I'll probably just use an old signature/avatar combo for now, until I figure out what I want. I hope these forums are active and friendly, and I hope I've made a good first impression. Quote

Check that blue bar at the top of the screen, "FAQ : Rules" is right up there. Some subforums have specialty rules, theology being a good example. Stickies are usually good to read. Test Forum's a good place to try out the funkier stuff like LatexTutorials will help you get used to some our custom and standard codesUser feedback has some nuggets of gold if you pan enough ...I hope these forums are active and friendly, and I hope I've made a good first impression. We hope so too! Hope to see you around. Quote
