How dee!

I am Nolan.

I found this site searching for discussions concerning the abiogenic theory of oil formation.

I am interested in scientific conversation concerning unsolved scientific issues where there is data and papers that challenge the standard theory. I enjoy researching the standard theory as well as the challenging hypothesis.

I started researching the cause of the glacial/interglacial cycle and found that there are a number of fundamental observations which the standard theory could not explain. Following the clues and recent papers, leads to a fairly new hypothesis that asserts that periodic modulate of planetary cloud cover by long term periodic changes in the sun as well as by galactic processes, is the hypothesized cause of the glacial/interglacial cycle as well as the ice epochs. There are a number of researchers that have recent published papers supporting that hypothesis, as well as the mechanism in which cloud cover is modulated.

The abiogenic theory of oil formation is also interesting. That line of questioning leads to questions concerning the evolution of the earth's atmosphere. I have just started to research the evolution of the atmosphere and have found some interesting new papers that discuss the finding of unexplained large changes in the C12/C13 ratio in carbonate deposits.

I am also interested in astrophysics. I have found a series of papers that discuss anomalies in galaxy and stellar evolution, quasars, and so forth. The standard cosmological theory has a number of fundamental problems. The competing hypotheses also have problems. Interesting area.

Welcome to Hypography.

You'll find that most of these topics have been discussed here before, particularly the oil question and more often the cosmology question (just head over to the astronomy/cosmology forum to dive in).

Thanks for welcome Tormod.

I hope I can add to the discussions.
