LaurieAG Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 An example of reflexivity might be: I believe the war in Iraq is good.’ This is my response to the polltaker on Monday. On Tuesday I read in the paper that 60% of those polled on Monday said the war was bad and 40% said the war was good. I talk with my friends at work on Wednesday and decide that the war is bad. ‘I believe the war in Iraq is bad.’ This is my response to the polltaker on Thursday. Hi Coberst, That depends on how trusting/susceptible to polls you are, if you are a follower not a leader. I personally look at what the politicians are saying then note how many trained intelligence professionals resign and state that what the politicians are saying is not true. i.e. I make up my mind from the facts that can be ascertained, as they develop, not after being processed and spun (again and again) by politicians after the event.
